Walk there in 20 minutes. Take the stepped path adjacent to the house, turn right then left down more steps. At the road turn left and in 200 yards look out for a kissing gate leading to a beautiful footpath all the way down to the beach and Meadfoot cafe.

Park in Babbacombe and take the cute cliff railway down to this pictureseque red sand beach. Theres a beach cafe and nice walk round to the Cary Arms

Great for kids and a section is dog friendly year round. Conveniant parking, a kids playground, boating lake and a nice restaurant called Cantina

Our favourite restaurant - glorious on a sunny day eating on thebeautiful terraces overlooking the bay. Its a gastro pub with excellent seafood, and part of a spa hotel where you can book treatments too. Dog friendly.

There’s one in Torquay and Brixham. Great for kids and anyone with dietary requirements, we love the huge selection of fish and seafood, the unlimited chips and easy to book online. Dog friendly.
